Just under two weeks after its release, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is off to a hot start. Sony announced today that the conclusion to the Uncharted series sold over 2.7 million global copies in its first week. Sony also revealed that the game is currently the PlayStation 4’s fastest-selling first party title.

Asad Qizilbash, Senior Director of First Party Games at SIEA, praised developer Naughty Dog for its efforts:

“Naughty Dog’s exceptionally talented team has created magic once again,” said Qizilbash. “The success of the game is a testament to … their unwavering commitment to their fans.”

The statistic encompasses worldwide sell-through data for both physical Blu-ray editions and digital copies as of May 16.

The news comes after a multitude of highly positive reviews for A Thief’s End, with the game holding a score of 93 on Metacritic.
