In what is a rather odd mash-up, it seems Ubisoft is planning to have the Trials franchise merge with Far Cry 3 spin-off Blood Dragon. It can only be described as an interesting fusion.

The news comes about as some eagle-eyed sleuths noticed a rating from the Taiwan Game Software Rating Regulations Board for a game called Trials of the Blood Dragon, which it seems will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It’s unclear if this will be a new entry in the Trials series, or if it will be a further expansion to Trials Fusion. That game has already received a batch of new content in the form of Trials Fusion: Awesome Level MAX, which featured a bunch of new levels and added items, as well as a gun-wielding, unicorn-riding cat.

This at least proves developer RedLynx has some experience when it comes to creating more out-there content, which will surely come in handy if the developer hopes to merge the franchise with the outlandish Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
