The new story NPCs added in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty seem like prime romance candidates. Both Solomon Reed and Songbird are quite tempting. It’s a little disappointing to report that neither of the new characters can be romanced in Phantom Liberty. Neither Solomon Reed nor Songbird can be romanced in Cyberpunk 2077, leaving some players (such as myself) wishing for something a little extra.
There are no new romance options added in Phantom Liberty, with the expansion being more focused on story-oriented roleplaying. Which is totally fine. But it’s a bit of a disappointment considering the characters CD Projekt RED added. That’s not to mention how well they’re written and how good they look. We’ll just have to turn to the community to give us more content on both Reed and Songbird rather than being able to romance them in-game.
Who are the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Romance Options?
There are still only four romance options in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It’s a list anyone who’s played the game should know by now and been the same since launch. The romance candidates are:
- Panam Palmer for V with a male body.
- Kerry Eurodyne for a V with a male body and voice.
- Judy Alvarez for V with a female body (and voice).
- River Ward for a female body.
That answers whether or not you can romance Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It’s a shame CDPR didn’t capitalize on fan thirst further with the expansion. However, there’s a lot more to do in the game than date pixels. The 2.0 update and DLC itself have both added a ton to the game, worth well more than the entry price.
