CDPR has managed to earn upwards of 237 million PLN from their expansive open-world RPG in 2015. That equals about $63.3 million USD. They were clear that they wanted to make a game people would love, but they probably didn’t expect Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to fly off the shelves in retail stores. A massive amount of digital copies have also been purchased.

The game had a DLC released this month that added to the experience of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The DLC adds a New Game+ mode, so players have a new reason to restart the adventure after beating the game.

It’s still not to late to pick up Witcher 3: Wild Hunt if you haven’t already. It’s a great game to pick up if you are looking to get into a wild open world RPG.
