Some maps are inspired by the locations from the past Resident Evil series. One is based on the Spencer Mansion from the first Resident Evil, featuring ornate interior design.

Another free map that is under development is based on the streets of Lanshiang, China, from Resident Evil 6

4 Survivors mode, a free-for-all mode with limited ammo and health, is also being developed. Players can experience battles in dark stages where Zombie Jammers are unavailable, which means that not only other players, but also zombies will be threatening to the players.

Umbrella Corps was released on June 21, 2016. Unfortunately, it has been receiving negative feedback from players; however, players can look forward to enjoy more of Umbrella Corps through several free updates.
