We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.

While no specific launch date was confirmed, the entry does suggest that more information on the game will be forthcoming at this year’s E3.

This news follows earlier speculation, gleaned from inside sources, that the game would not see a 2014 release due to the longer-than-expected production cycle of the Snowdrop engine.  While these rumors were not addressed in the most recent announcement, it would appear that this confirms earlier suggestions that the project’s ambitious nature could result in delays that far exceed the game’s original, optimistic launch window.
