After almost a year in Early Access, Pit People released on Steam and Xbox One on Friday. Made by indie developer The Behemoth, which is also responsible for games such as Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater, Pit People is a turn-based grid-system strategy game where players must explore a massive world while customizing and expand their squad of fighters, characterized by a cartoony art-style and wonderfully silly sense of humor. The game also features a highly emphasized co-op mode.

The full release edition features a fully fleshed-out story line complete with cinematics, 15 additional bonus missions, and a variety of balancing tweaks and “quality of life” patches to improve the way the game plays in general. While fans have been enjoying the game in Early Access since January 2017, hopefully now everyone who’s interested can feel safe to jump on board the completed package.

Pit People is available now for Steam and Xbox One for $15. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Pit People news as it develops.

I'm just your average basement-dwelling eclectic and eccentric video gamer who does his best to make a point, share experiences, and talk to people without swallowing his own tongue. I'm mostly into Platformers and RPG's, but I'll try pretty much anything once, and I'm also trying to find something different and interesting to play, and then share with as many people as I can. I can also beat the entire first world in Super Meat Boy while wearing oven mitts.
