Risk of Rain 2 had a very successful Early Access launch on Steam earlier this year and received its last large update in early July, introducing the new character Rex to the roster as well as a new change and a chunk of other new content.

Though I’m usually not a supporter of PC Early Access titles jumping to console while still in an unfinished state, Risk of Rain 2 proves to be a worthy successor to the original 2013 indie darling even without all the bells and whistles promised down the line. Unlike some Early Access titles, your adversary is in the gameplay  not in a slew of bugs.

Risk of Rain 2‘s is now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One for $29.99, a small price to pay for one of the most engrossing multiplayer roguelites currently available.
