Mojang-published Cobalt gets massive patch

Cobalt's new patch brings new survival mode material and tutorials.

The Cobalt dev team released a new patch for the game on March 18th. It’s full of new features including an online survival mode, the ability to restart story mode, text chat options, and a new tutorial. In addition, the patch includes a host of bug fixes and gameplay and control changes.

For those unaware, Cobalt is an action platform game developed by Sweden-based Oxeye Game Studios but published by Minecraft creators Mojang. Players have to guide the little cyborg, Cobalt, though epic multiplayer games such as Capture the Plug (a “capture the flag” type game) and deathmatchesl. They can also match wits against others in an online survival mode or you could just sit back and play the story mode.

After facing setbacks, Cobalt was finally released to the public at the beginning of February this year. It is available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Steam for Windows at a price of $19.99 (£15.99).
