For those of you that don’t know, Square-Enix has been struggling to find success in a rapidly changing market. Years ago, new iterations of the Final Fantasy series were enough to keep this megalith afloat, but today it seems as if remakes are the only thing the company feels safe in producing. Of course, there is no word on Kingdom Hearts 3. Or Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
That being said, this PS3 exclusive will include the HD remakes of Kingdom Hearts and Re: Chain of Memories, cut scenes from 358/2 Days, and some extras from Final Mix. And if you pre-order, you can get some fancy pictures of Donald Duck dressed up as a mummy! This is shaping up to be a must-buy for any Kingdom Hearts fan. If you have any interest in what happens when Disney meets Final Fantasy, you should probably pick up this title. Of course, if you’ve already played these games it may be a harder sell.
So the real question is, will you be picking this up for the expected $40-60 price point?
