The new 1.6 update for Fallout 4 is now available on all platforms, Bethesda announced today. The update was previously released on Steam on July 5th, before making its way to both consoles at the same time. In addition to the usual crop of fixes and improvements, the update includes support for the upcoming “Vault-Tec Workshop” DLC add-on, which is scheduled to be released on July 26th.

The 1.6 update includes a few additions to the Fallout 4 experience. Among these is the new ExitSave feature for PC players. Exiting to the Main Menu or Desktop will result in the creation of an ExitSave, which is loaded and then deleted the next time the game is started. This feature is available on all difficulties. In addition, the update adds 300 names to Codsworth’s vocabulary, and “Add On specific icons” in the Workshop mode.

As for fixes, the 1.6 update fixes an issue where companions could become stuck while walking, making them unable to run. The “Mankind Redefined” and “Boston After Dark” quests have also received fixes. In addition, deleting saved games should no longer result in other saves being deleted at the same time.
