Excitement Brews! The Halo: The Master Chief Collection is scheduled for release.

Big Announcement! The Halo 2: Anniversary is scheduled for a release date of November 11th.

At a gaming event hosted by Rooster Teeth, a panel discussed the design and vision of the new game.  According to the panel, Coagulation will be one of six remastered maps included in The Halo 2: Anniversary.  Also a remake of the Mongoose vehicle was introduced as the “Gongoose”.  In addition, Halo 2 will include Ricochet, Swat and Infection. The panel also stated there will be a universal EXP system.  More was announced about the ranking system at a later date.

The Master Collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4.

So what can you expect from the new collection? In Halo 2, you can expect Superbounces, fixed melee damage and plasma grenade times.  In Halo 2: Anniversary, there are new weapons and the before mentioned “Gungoose”.  Theater will also be offered as an option for Halos 3 and 4.  

The new game is scheduled  for release on November 11th, with a $60 price tag.
