Despite the lack of an official announcement, it has been confirmed that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be making its way to Western 3DS owners.

Speaking with “multiple trusted sources” at the Game Developers Conference, Siliconera have gotten confirmation that Square Enix’s much sought after RPG will be seeing a localization.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy did very well in Japan in its first month, and stands as a classic-style turn based RPG. It seems Square Enix may have listened to the requests for a localization in the company’s official “LOOK FORWARD TO IT!” thread, in which users post what they are hoping or looking forward to seeing released.

Amidst the cries of Final Fantasy Type-0 (one of which being my own) in the thread above, it seems they have at least picked up on those asking for a Bravely Default localization. Now if only we really did get a Final Fantasy Type-0 release. Sad face.
