Lucid Games’ Destruction AllStars is delayed until February 2021, Sony has announced. The vehicular combat game was previously scheduled as a PlayStation 5 launch game.

When Destruction AllStars does release in February, the multiplayer title will be free for two months for PS Plus subscribers.

Sony said the delay is because they want “as many people as possible to experience the mayhem on PlayStation 5.” Expanding the player base is also why Destruction AllStars will be included with PS Plus for free for two months.

Those who pre-ordered the game already will be refunded, including pre-order purchases from retail locations. Sony also promised a new trailer and plenty of new gameplay for sometime during the week of November 2.

While that’s one less game for launch day, there’s still a healthy PlayStation 5 launch lineup in store. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more PlayStation 5 news as it develops.
