Developer Rebellion introduces 1930s adventure game Strange Brigade, teases E3 showcase.

Developer Rebellion, famous for the Sniper Elite Series, just announced a new third-person adventure game titled Strange Brigade. According to the announcement trailer, the game set in the 1930s in the “remote corners of the British Empire, where the shadows linger at their deepest.”

Players will be able to select one of four adventurers, each with their own weapons and supernatural abilities. With these characters, they’ll explore hidden tombs, discover lost cities, and fight supernatural threats to the British Empire.

Rebellion has confirmed that Strange Brigade is for 1-4 players, and it appears to be a co-op experience versus hordes of zombies, mythological creatures, and at least one Egyptian witch queen. Check out the announcement trailer below for a look at the gameplay:

Strange Brigade will be released “soon” for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and Rebellion will showcase the game at E3 2017. For more information about Strange Brigade ahead of E3, check out the Strange Brigade site.
