“It’s no secret, obviously there’s going to be another Borderlands…We don’t even know if we’re going to call it that. We could call it Borderlands 4 for all we know,” Gearbox CEO and president Randy Pitchford said during the panel.

The writer for the game will be Gearbox chief creative champion, Mikey Newmann. He also voices the game’s mechanic, Scooter and is currently in the process of determining whether or not to include a character to be Scooter’s son.

Battleborns‘ art director Scott Kester will be providing the art direction for this new edition and Randy Varnell will serve as the creative director.

They also happened to mention that Battleborn and its DLC already have a ton of hidden Borderlands Easter eggs.
