Actually, let me put it this way; ever wondered what it would be like to experience the aftermath to an apocalypse that happened thirty minutes ago?

If you’ve had that wish, it’s precisely what The Chinese Room and SCE Santa Monica studio have granted in the form of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, a first person adventure available only on the PlayStation 4.

The trailer has a short dialog between Dr. Katherine Collins and another which clues us into how the beginning of the end started. Incidentally, if the voice of Dr. Collins (a central character) sounds familiar it’s because she’s voiced by none other than Merle Dandridge, who you may recognize as the voice of Alyx Vance in Half Life 2 or Marlene in the Last of Us

If you’re interested in gaining additional tidbits of information about this game and/or clues that might provide you with a headstart in unraveling the mystery behind Everybody’s Gone to The Rapture, be sure to give the official site a visit and check out our other coverage.

The apocalypse just won’t get here fast enough.
