Fans Create Unofficial Pokémon Uranium, Release it for Free

New Fan-made Pokémon Uranium is released for free after 9 years of development.

The name of Pokémon is making a huge comeback with the vastly successful mobile title, Pokémon Go. Recently a few dedicated fans have been working together over the past 9 years in order to create their own game set in the Pokémon universe, titled Pokémon Uranium.

According to the game’s website, the game itself has over 150 original Pokemon and “aims to recapture the classic Pokémon experience along with some added twists.” From the gameplay shown in the launch trailer, it gives the impression that it lives up to its goals.

Apart from this fan release, Nintendo does have an official duo of titles, Pokémon Sun and Moon, taking players to the new lands of Alola, arriving on November 18.
